"You don't take a photograph. You ask, quietly, to borrow it." ~Author Unknown
I photograph, therefore I am. Imagine... a sight so beautiful you want to remember it forever - like a really good dream; a scene so fascinating that no one would even believe it and attempting to describe it in words would not do it justice; a picture perfect moment in time that you want to have imprinted in your mind. These images can be lasting memories with the magnificent tool of a camera! Capturing these sights on film is like capturing a piece of time in your life.
One of my most admired photographers is Ansel Adams. I appreciate his philosophy. "A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety." ~Ansel Adams. That is exactly how I feel! I take pictures for the pure joy of it. Simply to capture priceless moments in life, sights beyond description, that I want to remember forever and share with the ones I love. I'm always amazed at what I see when I have a camera in hand. I see things that I wouldn't normally notice. Life seen through the lens of a camera changes everything! The world looks different and it brings me that feeling of aaaaahhhhh - pure joy. I've developed a new appreciation for this world God has created for me. I'm always looking for something to photograph...
